The Job
The growing demand for sporting facilities led to the $6.2 million restoration of the beloved Brens Pavillion in Royal Park, with 8 gender-neutral toilets, universally accessible change rooms, a kitchen and social spaces. The new pavilion provides a multi-use space for a range of community sport and recreation groups.
Scope of work:
DRL Constructions was asked to complete the timber sub floor & decking, install bench seating, flashing, and fencing. All works were undertaken within a heritage protection environment, with strict environmental considerations including the protection of several existing significant Gum and Elm trees within the building compound.
